Description
The Cummins Differential Pressure Sensor 4921730 is used primarily for XPI fuel systems on EPA10 Automotive 15-liter ISX/QSX engines to measure the pressure difference across the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). The DPF is an emissions control device that captures and removes particulate matter from the exhaust gases of diesel engines. The pressure sensor helps monitor the efficiency of the DPF and alerts the engine control unit when it requires regeneration to burn off accumulated soot and ensure proper emission control.
