Core Policy
When you purchase a remanufactured item, a core charge applies. This charge is a deposit on your old part, which can be refunded when you return it. The used core must be the same manufacturer and part number being purchased. Refunds can take up to 45 days to process and must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.
Review the following when dealing with a core. If you’re unsure about the condition of your part, please don’t hesitate to email us a photo for assessment. Contact info@duallane.com or 1-888-DLORDER for part-specific criteria or any questions.
WHAT IS A CORE
A core is your old, worn part that still has value. When you return this part to us, the value of the core deposit will be refunded as long as it meets the return criteria.
THE RETURN PROCESS
- Return your old part in the original box with all packing materials.
- Drain all fluids from the part to avoid spills. If not drained, a $100 handling fee will be applied.
- Ensure the part is in "normal wear and tear" condition. Parts with major damage (like cracked housings or broken shafts) won’t be accepted.
- Wrap the part in plastic (a garbage bag works well) to prevent leaks.
- Pack the part securely with paper or scrap cardboard to prevent movement during shipping.
- Include a copy of the invoice or packing list inside the box and mark the outside clearly with "CORE RETURN."
SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
- Use a carrier that provides package tracking, such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS.

- You are responsible for return shipping costs.
- In some cases, you may be asked to return the core directly to the manufacturer, but only do so if instructed by our call center.
AFTER SHIPPING
- Email your tracking information to us at support@duallane.com to expedite your refund.
- Allow up to 45 days for your credit to be processed. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
