Description
The Cummins Molded Hose 5258626 is used primarily on EPA13 Automotive 8.9-liter ISC/ISL engines for EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) water plumbing. EGR is an emission control technology that reduces nitrogen oxide emissions by recirculating a portion of the engine's exhaust gas back into the intake manifold. The molded hose is designed to carry coolant or water to and from the EGR system to regulate the exhaust gas temperature and ensure proper functioning of the emission control system.
