The Meritor TDA 31317-04 is a 5-inch brass Thru-Tee assembly designed for use with dual tire ProPar axles in Meritor's Tire Inflation System (MTIS). It features a stainless steel tube, a tee vent, and a shield, facilitating the automatic inflation of tires by allowing air to flow between dual wheels. This component is compatible with HN tapered spindles and screws directly into the hubcap, ensuring secure installation. It serves as a replacement for part numbers 31315-04 and 31316-04, offering durability and reliability for maintaining optimal tire pressure.
