Description
The 12-31615-000 is a pressure switch used in a vehicle's park lock system. It is designed to activate when the pressure reaches a certain threshold (10A), to engage or disengage the park lock mechanism. The park lock system is an important safety feature that prevents the vehicle from moving while parked, ensuring it remains stationary when the transmission is in the Park position. When the pressure switch detects the correct pressure, it enables or disables the park lock, allowing the driver to safely shift gears and park the vehicle securely.
