It is responsible for measuring the fuel level in the tank and providing accurate information to the vehicle's fuel gauge or monitoring system. The sending unit has a maximum swing angle of 105 degrees, allowing it to accurately measure a wide range of fuel levels. Its electrical resistance is 246 ohms when the tank is empty and 30 ohms when the tank is full.
