Description
The boost sensor is responsible for gauging the air pressure that enters the intake manifold of the engine after it goes through the turbocharger. This information is essential for the engine control unit (ECU) to monitor and regulate the boost pressure. By analyzing this pressure, the ECU can make adjustments to fuel injection, ignition timing and turbocharger operation in order to enhance engine performance and efficiency.
