Description
The Delco Remy 39MT 12 V Starter is built with an electrical soft start that rotates the pinion for proper ring gear engagement before cranking, minimizing tooth abutment-related damage. Its sealed solid link solenoid eliminates contact welding in low-system voltage situations, providing enhanced reliability. The sealed noiseless configuration in this starter minimizes debris accumulation and contamination. This starter uniquely includes an integral magnetic switch (IMS) that ensures maximum voltage in any starting condition as well as rotatable flange models that help improve service flexibility. This Delco Remy 39MT 12-Volt Starter is specialized for Freightliner, Sterling Truck and Western Star vehicles that utilize SAE 3 mounts. It features an 11-tooth pinion with a 6/8 pitch and a solenoid position of 82 degrees. Over Crank Protection (OCP) also comes standard on this model.
