Description
The 40SI specifically is made with a brushless design, making for fewer moving parts and internal connections which leads to longer life. This alternator is built with a dual internal fan design (DIF) that provides maximum cooling technology. It's also equipped with Remote Sense, which reduces battery charge time by 50 percent. This Delco Remy 40SI 240 Amp Alternator is specialized for Bluebird, International, Kenworth, Mack, Volvo and Western Star vehicles that utilize pad mounting.
