Description

The 8L2786 Seal O-ring is specifically designed for high-temperature applications that need to withstand air, fuels, lubricants and hydraulic fluids. This O-ring is made from FKM rubber, which is known for its ability to handle temperatures ranging from -40 to 150° C. It provides resistance against air, fuel (including bio-diesel), lubricants and oils. The O-ring has a section diameter of 0.087 inches, an inside diameter of 0.644 inches and an outside diameter of 0.818 inches. It has a hardness rating of 75 Shore A and is color-coded as blue for easy identification. To facilitate installation and assembly, the O-ring is coated with PTFE for added protection. However, it's important to note that FKM rubber should not be used in applications where resistance to water or coolant is required.
