Description

The 6V5266 seal O-ring is a type that is specifically designed to be used in high-temperature environments where it needs to withstand air, fuels, lubricants and hydraulic fluids. This O-ring has a dash size of 221 inches and can handle temperature changes from -40 to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. It is made from fluoroelastomer (FKM) rubber, which makes it highly compatible with diester lubricants, halogenated hydrocarbons (above 100° C), petroleum fluids, phosphate ester fluids, silicone fluids and some acids. The measurements of this O-ring include a section diameter of 0.139 inches, inside diameter of 1.421 inches and outside diameter of 1.699 inches. Although FKM rubber performs well in challenging conditions, it is not recommended for applications that require resistance against amines, brake fluids, engine coolant, fire resistant fluids, ketones, steam or water.
