Description

The 5P7814 seal is specifically designed for use in high-temperature situations where it needs to withstand air, fuels, lubricants and hydraulic fluids. It offers a temperature range from -40° F to 350° F. This seal, with a dash size of 905, can be used with diester lubricants, halogenated hydrocarbons, petroleum fluids, phosphate ester fluids, silicone fluids and some acids. However, it is not suitable for applications involving amines, brake fluids, engine coolant, fire resistant fluids, ketones, steam or water. It is made from FKM rubber that has a Shore A hardness of 75 units on the scale of hardness measurement. The cross-section diameter measures 0.072 inches while the inside diameter is 0.414 inches and the outside diameter is 0.558 inches. This seal is color-coded in black and made from FKM (75) material. It's important to note that FKM rubber should not be used in situations where resistance to water or coolant is required.
