Description

The 0617540 seal O-ring is a rubber component designed for use in high-temperature environments. It provides resistance to air, fuels, lubricants and hydraulic fluids. This particular O-ring has a sturdy design and measures 121 inches in dash size. It can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Made from fluoroelastomer (FKM) rubber, it has properties such as resistance to diester lubricants, halogenated hydrocarbons (above 100° C), petroleum fluids, phosphate ester fluids and silicone fluids. The cross-section diameter is 0.103 inches, the inside diameter is 1.049 inches and the outside diameter is 1.255 inches. However it's important to note that FKM rubber may not be suitable for applications that require resistance to amines, brake fluids, engine coolant, fire resistant fluids, ketones, steam or water.
